Ancient Upyri were drastically different from modern Upyri, much aggressive and with a near constant thirst for blood. Similar to depictions of the mythical vampire on Sol, they mostly slept during the day and hunted at night. This continued for hundreds of years, as the Upyri started to band together into tribes.
