The Anti-Terrorism & Piracy Response Force (aka the ATPRF) is a branch of the Upyri Federation Navy tasked specifically with targetting terrorist cells and pirate groups that operate inside Federation space. Created jointly by the Federation Navy and the Office of Naval Intelligence in 2395, it is made up of hand-selected individuals chosen from various groups and planets from around Federation space.
Currently, there are over 100,000 members, spread out across six sectors of Federation space.
