The Humanity First Movement is a broad intergalactic organization advocating primarily for Human rights throughout the Milky Way galaxy.
History[]
Founded in 2205, a year after the First Contact War, the Humanity First Movement started out as a way for Humans to voice their concerns regarding hostile actions carried out by other sentient species.
While it may have started as a legitimate movement the Humanity First Movement quickly turned into a forum for racists and other extremists advocating for military action against any and all aliens that posed a threat to "Humanity and her colonies".
Denounced by a majority of UNGSI members and their respective colonial administrations on Qalea, Paraíso and Valhalla (as well as other, smaller colonies) HFM slowly lost traction and legitimacy on the larger planets.
Today they maintain offices within the Sol system and advocate for better worker's rights, wages and benefits for Human workers hired by offworld corporations.
Ties to Extremist Groups[]
Even though the Humanity First Movement have worked hard to restore their position as a legitimate voice for Humans there's still alot of members active within other extremist groups primarily found on smaller colonies and on planets with a non-Human dominant population accused of "oppressing" the Humans.
The Sol Government retains the UNGSI's official stance on the matter: untill proven otherwise, the Humanity First Movement is to be considered as a group of racist extremists.
