Katarina Janova is vice-leader and co-founder of the Storm Kings, which she founded alongside Marcus Ritter.
History[]
An ambitious woman with many secrets, Katarina Janova used to be an agent with the SSOID.
Good at locating dirt on insurrectionists and other anti-Sol figures Janova eventually used her skills to earn money on the side, using her SSOID clearance to get inside info on corporations, stock markets and other channels which could net her more riches.
She eventually slipped up during a raid on a corrupt stock broker suspected for funding Lunar Children terror cells. During the raid Janova discharged her firearm to prevent the broker from spilling his guts, to her colleagues she said that the suspect had been reaching for a weapon.
Because her colleagues and superiors found no weapon and because helmet feeds from the Tac-Team showed no suspicious movements the SSOID launched an internal investigation which in turn uncovered Janova's sidebusiness and its link to the broker.
Wanting to avoid the scandal of trialing a senior agent for corruption the SSOID sealed the case and fired Janova who eventually left Sol, hoping to find work on Legkiy where many of her relatives lived.
It was during this journey she met Marcus Ritter. Realizing eachothers potential the two were a perfect match and founded the Storm Kings.
Trivia[]
Katarina is related to several high-ranking members of the Red Corsairs. Despite her slavic name she is actually partially Valhallan with her Valhallan relatives being directly related to Anja Drakhjelm.
